DirectResize
Image expander for modx revolution
DirectResize is an image expander plugin for modx revolution. It is a plugin which installs the excellent highslide JS thumbnail viewer and is used heavily on this site for most of the images. This has now been submitted as an extra and so should be available via the package manager in modx.
I cannot claim any originality for this plugin as I had used the Evolution version of DirectResize on an earlier website. However this was no longer being maintained and needed updating to work with Revolution. An updated version DirectResize Revo has been posted to the modx extras but this used an out of date version of Highslide that wasn't compatible with Chrome and was missing a few options. I tried contacting the author for updates but I suspect the language barrier is a limiting factor as my knowledge of Russian is none existant. So in the true open source fashion I had to scratch the itch, hence this plugin.
I'm managing the project through github, so all downloads, source and bug reports can be found at apcherry/directresize.
The original version included several other image expanders and many more options. I've fixed the bits I wanted to get sorted, however if there is a demand for more options then please raise them on github or add a comment below or email me.
