Trials and tribulations of building the Connoisseur kit

part built JintyIn summary : Overall a nice budget entry kit, which quite easily converts to Scale7 standards. However I had to make a few modifications along the way, some by choice and some by necessity, which I'll detail in these pages. The kit was also used to test out a form of suspension called "continuous springy beams" or CSB for short.

The current status is that all the main body work and chassis is complete and it's just the final detailing to finish. On the chassis I need to finish off the sandbox pipework, the dummy springs and the inside motion detail. On the body work it's the adding all the whitemetal castings.

current progress on the Jinty

Hopefully they will be useful notes for anyone interested in building the kit.
