HAPPY NEW YEAR TO EVERYONE, COLIN ANGELA AND FIONA WISH YOU ALL THE VERY BEST AND WOULD LIKE TO THANK YOU FOR YOUR CARDS AND GIFTS.
We hope the weather has not been too hazardous to you all and lets hope the thaw comes soon. This year’s diary looks busy for the Team competing at the Regional’s as well as the recreational gymnasts who will be given the opportunity to compete locally, and social events that have been planned.

CAN I ASK ALL VOLUNTEERS TO MAKE A NOTE IN THEIR DIARY FOR A MEETING ON THURSDAY 28TH JANUARY 2010 8.00PM AT THE ANCIENT OAK.
CHILDRENS COMMITTEE
The Children’s Committee has been reformed and Vicky Pickup is the new Chairperson. The committee will be responsible for the tuck shop and as you will see at club they will have their own table, so if there is something you would like to snack on when you are leaving, after a good training session, let them know. They also have great ideas for having fun and raising funds.
COULD YOU REPRESENT YOUR SESSION?
Attached is a letter from the Children’s committee, they would be grateful if you will complete this and return it to them at the Tuck Shop Table.
Club Mascot – Preston Bear
Jo Smith – Coach at the club - Trains every day to keep fit, as she can no longer bounce. She has asked the Children’s committee to organise a competition to guess how many miles she walked last year. She has bought our mascot PRESTON BEAR and the winner of the competition will win a miniature replica of PRESTON BEAR. Watch out for this competition entry – it will be on the Tuck Shop Table.
FRIENDLY COMPETITIONS – NEXT ONE 21.2.10
Coaches will be looking at and assessing gymnasts who have reached BG Level 9 to see if they are ready to compete. So if you are interested, you need to do your conditioning every day and work hard at your session.
MATTING
New Matting and a trolley has been ordered for around the trampolines, this matting is required to comply with the new safety regulations as set out by British Gymnastics. All fund raising money received over the last twelve months has been put towards the cost of this matting.
TRAMPOLINING KIT IS AVAILABLE, IF WE DO NOT HAVE YOUR SIZE ORDERS CAN BE TAKEN
T TOWELS ARE STILL AVAILABLE FOR OWN PERSONAL USE OR AS AN IMPROMPTU GIFT.
