Colin and I cannot believe that another month has flown by and what a month.
We have been to the Regional Grading with 12 of the team 6 of them jumped levels. Emily and Louisa bounced their way right out of the Regional Comps right into the National Competitions. Congratulations to all graders.
FRIENDLY COMPETITION AT NANTWICH
Nantwich details to be confirmed.
SPORTS EQUIPMENT
You will see from your sessions that the new mats have arrived, this was possible to your hard work in fund raising, the mats cost in the region of £5000, monies from your sponsored bounce and all other activities contributed to the sum of £2100, Preston Sports Forum £500, and the shortfall the club made up. Thank you to all who supported us in this venture.
PRESTON BEAR – Our Lucky Mascot (and Oh Boy did he work well on the day)
We are asking you to guess how many miles Jo walked last year in her training. This is £1 a guess and you will win a replica of Preston Bear, so come have a go.
CHILDREN’S COMMITTEE
The above committee asked last month for people to come forward and complete the forms to represent your session of trampoline. This is so that they know what everyone likes to do and can then plan events accordingly. Can you complete the forms and let us have them back.
VOLUNTEERS/COACHES
Thank you so much for taking the time to attend meetings this week, Colin and I know how busy you all are and to give up your time to support the club is really appreciated.
SPORTS RELIEF 21 February 2010
As you will see from the above we are away this day at a competition and the main coaches and team will not be able to enter. If you wish to enter as a team from PCTC please let Angela know. We can raise money for this excellent cause the same way as we did last time by entering their sweepstake. The information will be at the desk.
AWARDS DAY 26th June 2010
We are looking to run our Awards Day very similar to last year, as this gave every gymnast at the club a flavour of what competition is like without the pressure. The difference this year is that the Awards will be followed by a Presentation Evening where all awards, trophies etc., will be presented. This will be a celebration of your achievements combined with an end of year party. Watch this space for more details.
ITEMS FOR SALE
We have a full range of shorts, and leotards in stock; price list is on the notice board. The Tuck Shop is also open and running again.
