Awards Day Schedule 2010

ANNUAL AWARDS COMPETITION

26^th JUNE 2010

 

This year’s Awards Day is run along the same lines as last year with the one difference; the gymnasts will be awarded 1st and Highly Commended for each group.

We have found that the children receiving their British Gymnastics Proficiency Awards Certificates being given out on a 6 week rolling programme has encouraged the children to work through these awards.

The centre will be open at 9.30 am. At this year Awards Competition the club will be running a Raffle and an array of stalls in the main hall. Refreshments will be served in the classroom. Funds raised this year will complete the cost of the floor mats, and will go towards a new 4x4 competition bed. The gymnasts have done a fantastic job raising funds with an Easter Quiz night, T Towel Sales and the Young Persons Committee Tuck Shop, along with a new magazine designed by them and on sale for 50p.

Every effort will be made to keep to the following programme it should be noted that these times are approximate and gymnasts should check with the warm up coach.

THE PAUL LUXON AWARD

The club wish to continue to make this special award in memory of this exceptional gymnast and trampoline champion.

ALL PRESENTATIONS WILL BE MADE AT 7.00pm THIS EVENING AT LEA CLUB BLACKPOOL ROAD, WHERE THERE WILL BE A DISCO AND BUFFET. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE YOUR TICKETS. DOORS OPEN AT 6.30PM

There will be a Preston City Trampoline Club Stall, where you can purchase club related kit, along with badges to go with the British Gymnastics Proficiency Certificates the gymnasts have achieved over the last year. The stalls are –

Refreshments will be served in the classroom.

COLIN AND ANGELA would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our volunteers who give their time freely, they support the club in a million ways, they are here to supervise at every session, and without them today would not have been possible.

Photographs of Awards will be taken by Adrian Cherry and can be purchased at a later date. The Press may also attend. Therefore I will require you to sign the attached permission slip and return it to me on the morning of the 26^th .
